I really tried to enjoy this book, but it is a book that I was forced to sit down and read. I’d carry it with me with the intention of reading, but I’d read a few pages and not feel it pull me in further to read. Maybe I just didn’t try hard enough, or perhaps my head was “cleared” enough to read it.
That said, the description of the book is what lured me in. I think as women, we all have an ache in our souls, and her description of the glory ache made me want to read more. But again, every time I’d pick it up, I’d find myself flipping pages, seeking a reason to slowly read, and delve into the book. But I couldn’t.
The cover art was nice, enough to make me select the book. I may try reading the book in the future again, hopefully then I can get more involved. Her stories were interesting, but I, was seeking more.
